The mailbox unit
The mailbox unit uses a simple, reliable 915MHz TI radio transmitter and receiver to communicate with the home unit.
Any standard mailbox is compatible with the mailbox unit, with a few exceptions. In order to fit the Mailbox enclosure box with wires, your mailbox door has to be at least 140mm (5.5 inches) wide.
The range of the mailbox unit is not less than 100 feet, but may be up to 500 feet if no obstacles block line-of-sight between the base unit and the mailbox antenna.
Mailbox sensors have an ability to search and discover each other and relay alert messages with owner's permission to deliver alerts in the most optimal way.
